Defence and Security

Since the establishment of the firm in 2011, PRIMUS has consistently worked with clients in the field of defence and security. After the Russia’s war against Ukraine, security and defence issues became even more important for both Lithuania and neighbouring countries.

In April 2022, PRIMUS became a member of the Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association (LGSPA), thus joining the platform, which is dedicated to the cooperation of companies working in the field of defence and security, in order to optimally use and develop the potential of members through transparent mutual cooperation with Lithuanian and foreign governmental and non-governmental institutions. PRIMUS Managing Partner (International Business) Robert Juodka was elected to the board of the Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association and is actively involved in the activities of the association.

PRIMUS is also a long-standing partner of the NGO National Defence Foundation.

Legal assistance to Estonian queue management service provider with public procurements of major state IT infrastructure services, legal advice on the execution of concluded public procurement contracts.
Legal advice to American multinational conglomerate company that produces commercial and consumer products, engineering services and aerospace systems according to EU Regulation (EU) 2016/426 (Gas Appliance Regulation or GAR) on product safety regulations in Lithuania and procedures for informing the users and authorities about any product safety issues.
Advising American energy solutions company on an international delivery of various types of fuels to NATO troops stationed in the Baltics. Legal advice included complex issues of regulatory, licensing, cross-border taxation, excise tax exemption and other tax etc. exemptions for national defence sector as well as contractual and structuring advice. Project value – up to EUR 750 million.
